This Water Palace was built by Maharaja Pratap Singh on Amer Road in 1799. It is situated in the midst of Man Sagar Lake. The kings used to spend their summer months in this Palace. It is surrounded by hills. The Lake was formed by constructing a dam between the two hills.
Recently, it has been reconstructed and revived and looks very attractive and beautiful. Many beautiful carvings, walk ways and fountains have been built here.
